Caloric receives contract for a second Methanol Cracker

It is the first time in Calorics recent history, that an identical plant will be constructed and delivered to an existing customer in Taiwan. The plant will generate 1500 Nm³/h of pure hydrogen and is based on Calorics well proven HM technology. Besides high reliability requirement, customer was strongly focused on shortest delivery time possible.

Considering the market situation in Taiwan, methanol still represents a competitive alternative to natural gas and therefore Calorics high efficient methanol cracker suits perfectly the on-site demand of hydrogen for downstream processing.

Maintaining excellent, long-term business relationships with sub-suppliers, this plant will be ready for shipment in a record time. Not only the sustainable network of sub-suppliers, but as well the high degree of in-house expertise and efficient project management structures in this sector will make this project execution very valuable for the client.

The plant will be shipped in mid of 2013. By this contract Caloric proves again its strong market position in Taiwan, as this plant is the fifth plant within the last three years.
